Summer Reading - Micheal Dorris

The essay Summer Reading by Micheal Dorris was an excellent read. I enjoyed how his story evolved. How he suddenly found love for literature. Although Mr Ballou did not pay him, he introduced him to the world of literature. He wouldn't have been where he was in life if it wasn't for Mr Ballou. This passage holds a message and it personally taught me a lesson. Money is not the only form of payment. Payment can come in the form of knowledge or opportunities.
